Tox Info Suisse (www.toxinfo.ch) operates the emergency number 145 in Switzerland. Doctors and other medical professionals provide around-the-clock telephone advice on poisonings caused by chemicals, medications, toxic plants, mushrooms or animals, as well as drugs and much more.At our location, right in the heart of Zurich with around 50 employees, we offer immediately or by arrangement an interesting position and a varied range of tasks for a medically skilled, open-minded individual as a part-time doctor 50-80%
The main tasks include:
• Telephone advice to medical professionals and the general public on poisonings and drug side effects
• Processing of medical feedback and data material
• Writing and reviewing internal advisory documents
• Active participation in internal training
In this position, you will also receive comprehensive training in clinical toxicology and poisoning advice.
The requirements for future incumbents are:
• Completed medical studies
• Committed, patient-oriented working style and high sense of responsibility
• Experience in the clinical-toxicological environment is an advantage but not a requirement
• Scientific interest
• Very good communication skills in German, French and English, both spoken and written.
• Impeccable manners and empathy
