Job Description
Within the Authorisations and Complaints Unit, you are responsible for drafting decisions and determinations, managing appeal procedures, supporting and advising colleagues, and ensuring compliance with legal provisions.
Responsibilities
Process files to issue administrative decisions, handle appeals against decisions drafted by the Authorisations and Complaints Unit
Draft administrative decisions and verify that decisions subject to appeal comply with the law (case law)
Handle appeal procedures in collaboration with the director and the unit’s subject matter experts, as well as the legal officers of the Legal Affairs Unit, by drafting legal documents within procedures before cantonal and federal judicial/administrative authorities
Manage complex cases, particularly authorisations requiring legal expertise
Ensure the legality of the unit’s processes and legal procedures
Conduct legal monitoring, contribute to the legal culture of the general management, and assist in drafting responses to parliamentary interventions
Provide legal support and advice to colleagues and managers within the unit

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in law and bar admission
- Postgraduate training in health law (MAS or DAS) preferred
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience as a legal officer and 5 years in health law or public and administrative law
- Broad vision and sense of perspective
- Strong writing skills
- Excellent personal organisation and time management
- Outstanding analytical and synthesis abilities
