Role:
As a metal processing machine operator, you are responsible for the smooth operation of our production facilities as well as for on-time manufacturing and material logistics. Together with your team, you ensure efficient, safe and high-quality production.
Responsibilities:
Operation and supervision of the cross-cutting system, rewinding system and guillotine shear in a team of 5-7 employees
Ensuring on-time, qualitative and quantitative production of customer orders
Operation of overhead cranes up to 25 tonnes and driving forklifts up to 7 tonnes
Loading and unloading of lorries
Carrying out goods receipt and dispatch inspections
Recording and managing goods flows in the warehouse management system Atlas
Proper and safe storage of material deliveries
Conducting ongoing quality controls according to ISO 9001
Qualifications:
Ideally experience in the metal or steel industry
Completed training as a locksmith, mechanic or comparable professional experience in a technical environment is an advantage
Valid forklift licence
Confident handling of computers and digital systems
Quick comprehension and enjoyment of working with large systems
Versatile, flexible and solution-oriented working style
Very good German language skills
