About the job
Located in a beautiful, tree-lined and peaceful setting, the MRPS is both a medico-social and residential institution. It is a living space for seniors. Founded in 1849, it has more than 300 employees and welcomes dependent elderly people (220 in EMS) and independent ones (140 in residences). To complete our multidisciplinary team, we are looking for the following profile for our establishment:
Nurse
YOUR MISSION:
- Provide and guarantee individualised care, autonomously and/or under medical delegation, taking into account the physical, psychological, spiritual, social and cultural needs of each resident.
- Contribute, through your role as a referent, to the construction of the personalised project specific to each resident, with the resident, their relatives and the multidisciplinary team, according to a humanistic and holistic approach to "caring".
- Support residents in crisis situations by adopting a reflective practice based on knowledge of the person, preventive and therapeutic actions to be taken, in collaboration with doctors and health professionals.
- Organise, guide and supervise the activities and care of the ASSC, ASE, qualified and unqualified nursing assistants team.
- Support the resident and their relatives in end-of-life care and accompaniment within the framework of the palliative approach and care in the final days.
- Ensure and respect procedures, hygiene and safety standards with residents and within the team.
- Plan medical prescriptions, prepare and administer medications.
- Support relatives throughout the resident's journey with kindness and professionalism.
- Participate in institutional projects and demonstrate enthusiasm to meet the challenges of the healthcare world.
TRAINING AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor of Science HES-SO in nursing
- Experience in geriatrics or psychogeriatrics would be an asset.
- Training in non-drug approaches for people with cognitive disorders is an asset.
- Proficiency in common office tools and DIR-SADIES
- Oral and written mastery of the French language, a foreign language is an asset.
