The Chair of Sustainable Construction at ETH Zurich is organizing the ICBBM 27 "6th International Conference on Bio-Based Building Materials" from June 22 to June 25, 2027. To support the preparation and execution of the conference, we are looking for a student.
Job description
- Create and update the conference website
- Support in all communication tasks for the conference
- Assist in preparation, during, and after the conference
- Formatting of abstracts and papers
- Printing of conference materials (badges, signage, posters, public transport tickets, etc.)
Profile
- Experience in editing websites. Knowledge of ETH Zurich's Web Content Management System (AEM) is an advantage
- Enrolled student at ETH Zurich or University of Zurich until autumn 2027
- Knowledge of Office and Adobe programs
- Knowledge of InDesign and LaTeX is an advantage
- Flawless written communication in German and English
- Interest and experience in event organization
- Interest in sustainable construction topics is an advantage

We offer
- Hourly rate: 30.70 CHF gross
- Working hours full-time during and shortly before the conference June 22 - June 27, 2027
- Before and after the conference, by arrangement, approx. 10 hours per week, flexible and partly possible from home
- In the preparation phase from now until early 2027 approx. 10 hours per month
- There is the possibility to take on further tasks at the chair
