About the job
The role of production operator involves operating and monitoring our various production machines, in compliance with safety rules, quality requirements, and our work instructions. Over time, the operator develops technical knowledge of the equipment to gain autonomy and progress in their role.
Main responsibilities
- Carry out production activities, adjustments, and dimensional checks
- Ensure compliance with the organisation and production standards at the workstation by following a defined production plan
- Identify and report various problems and potential causes, propose solutions and improvements
- Perform first-level maintenance and ensure information transfer during shift handovers
- Participate in continuous improvement within the existing structure
- Ensure proper application of 5S (organisation system) and cleaning of the lines
Shifts are organised in 2x8 or 3x8 teams depending on the departments (5:30-14:15 / 14:00-22:45 / 22:30-5:45).
Required profile
- Ideally holds a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in a technical field and has professional experience in an industrial environment
- Experience in industrial production, ideally in an environment demanding quality and precision
- Comfortable working alternating day/night shifts
- Good level of spoken and written French
- Holds a driving licence and has a vehicle to get to the workplace, especially due to working hours
