The Department of Medicine (D-MED) consists of 14 medical-care entities (12 medical services, 1 Investigation and Short Treatment Unit (UITB), and the Blood Transfusion Centre (CTS)) with the particularity of including technical platforms in its organisation (including interventional cardiology and digestive and pulmonary endoscopy), several treatment and care platforms (biological treatments, photopheresis and medical care), 1 hospital and outpatient dialysis centre, and 3 rehabilitation and reconditioning programmes.
Job Description
You manage the stocks and thresholds of materials ordered externally and internally for the service.
You carry out the purchase of materials respecting the allocated budgets.
You manage the maintenance and upkeep of the equipment with partners.
You also manage the upkeep and works in the various premises of the service and coordinate their organisation.
You propose and apply stock management rules under your responsibility.
You assess the needs of the units in connection with the needs of the care teams and propose appropriate supply measures to control costs.
You ensure liaison with various technical and logistical partners (central warehouse, purchasing centre, technical service, sterilisation, laundry, printing centre).
You participate in training care staff on the introduction of new consumables or equipment.
Qualifications
You hold a diploma in nursing assistance and support or have training in the logistics field.
You have a good knowledge of the Geneva University Hospitals and also good knowledge of institutional IT tools.
You have an excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
You are an organised, rigorous, dynamic and autonomous person able to work effectively in a collaborative way.
You also have the tools to cope with unforeseen events and thus easily manage stressful situations proactively. You demonstrate good adaptability, teamwork skills and physical endurance.
You are ready to undertake the CAS Industrial Supply Chain.
