Would you like to contribute your experience in catering at St. Karli Primary School? Support our team four to five days a week in preparing the dining rooms, serving meals, and carrying out cleaning tasks – and help us promote the well-being of children and adults alike.

• Together with the care team, you prepare the dining room for the children and ensure a welcoming atmosphere during lunchtime.
• You arrange the meals in the bain-maries and accompany the meal service for up to 30 children from grades 3 to 6. In doing so, you contribute to a pleasant and appreciative dining culture.
• You support the children during lunchtime and are a friendly, reliable contact person in the dining room.
• You independently carry out household tasks in the kitchen and dining area. After the meal, you clean tables, chairs, work surfaces, and the premises, and ensure the proper cleaning of the bain-maries.
• You ensure compliance with the cantonal hygiene regulations as well as the hygiene concept of the City of Lucerne public school and work responsibly according to the applicable standards.
• You mainly work during school weeks, averaging 9 hours per week, from 11:30 am to approximately 2:30 pm. Your working days would be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

• Ideally, you have practical experience in the kitchen or household sector or enjoy familiarising yourself with this field of work.
• You enjoy fresh meals, a tidy environment, and contact with children of primary school age.
• Order, cleanliness, and hygiene are a matter of course for you, and you work reliably and carefully.
• You are a responsible, open personality and appreciate teamwork.
• You work in a structured, independent manner and keep an overview even in lively situations.
• Flexibility, resilience, and reliability characterise you.
• You like to pitch in and take on household tasks in the kitchen and dining room with commitment.
