Broad general practice with its own laboratory and X-ray, a hospital centre with numerous specialist disciplines in the same city, and Zurich reachable in just under 40 minutes: In the Schaffhausen region, you will independently care for your patients and actively shape the offering of a modern medical centre - Germany right on your doorstep.

The medical centre is centrally located in the cantonal capital, with public transport right outside the door. The rooms are modern and bright. A team of two specialists in General Internal Medicine as well as four medical practice assistants covers the entire spectrum of general practice. Laboratory and X-ray are on site, so many findings are available during the consultation. The team values doctors actively shaping the offering.

Referral routes are short. The cantonal hospital in the same city is a training clinic of the highest category. Zurich can be reached by train in about 38 minutes, the airport in about 40 minutes. The canton of Schaffhausen borders Baden-Württemberg for over 150 kilometres, and there are direct trains to Stuttgart.

Your tasks:

• You independently care for your general practice patients across the full range of primary care
• You use the in-house laboratory and X-ray for rapid diagnostics and refer specifically to specialists in the region
• You further develop the medical offering of the centre
• You provide collegial cover within the medical team
• You expand your expertise through internal and external training

Your competencies:

• Specialist title in General Internal Medicine / General Practitioner or an equivalent title, e.g. specialist in General Medicine or Internal Medicine from Germany
• Desire to shape: You want not only to hold consultations but also to develop processes and offerings
• Strong communication skills and team orientation
• German language skills at C1 level
