For our client, a 100% Swiss family-owned company in metal processing based in the canton of Bern, we are looking for a committed specialist for CNC production. The company supplies customers across various industries including hydropower, metal, electrical, food, pharmaceutical, chemical and paper industries and is characterised by flat hierarchies and short, independent decision-making paths.

 

Your tasks as a Polymechanic CNC Milling (m/f/d)

 

• Manufacture of prototypes, individual parts as well as small and medium series in batch sizes from 1 to 50 pieces
• Independent setup and operation of 5-axis CNC milling machines with Heidenhain control
• Taking full responsibility for your workpiece – from raw part to finished component
• Commissioning and optimisation of programmes provided by the technical office
• Proactive monitoring of machine running time with a focus on quality and efficiency
• Collaboration in a well-coordinated team of 15 to 20 people in the contract manufacturing area
  
   

What distinguishes you

• Completed EFZ as a polymechanic or a comparable technical basic training
• Experience in independently setting up 5-axis milling machines with Heidenhain control
• Confident handling of technical drawings and precise implementation in practice
• Knowledge of Mastercam is an advantage but not a requirement
• Fluent German skills for coordination with the team and technical office
• Initiative, calm working style even under deadline pressure and a good sense of the right moment to take action
