About the job

We are realigning the management of our IT portfolio: moving away from individual projects towards stable teams and impact-driven management – based on SAFe. For our Portfolio and Value Management team, we are seeking an experienced individual to shape the portfolio management professionally.

• You orchestrate the overarching portfolio processes – from Portfolio Kanban / Epic Flow to integration with PI Planning – and continuously develop them further
• You help design our portfolio committees and rituals – from the bank-wide portfolio committee through portfolio syncs to the architecture committee – prepare them, moderate them, and ensure decision-ready foundations regarding impact, effort, risks, and capacity
• You anchor strategy implementation in portfolio management. Together with corporate development, product management, and architecture, you translate strategic goals into portfolio OKRs and roadmaps and support reporting to executive management
• You ensure closeness to enterprise and IT architecture: initiatives are reviewed early for architectural fit, feasibility, and dependencies, and modernisation receives the necessary space in the portfolio
• You methodically develop value tracking, flow metrics, and lean business cases further and support epic owners in slicing epics and developing lean business cases

• You have education and training at the university of applied sciences or university level and several years of senior-level experience in portfolio management, demonstrably with SAFe or Lean Portfolio Management in practice
• You are methodically strong in portfolio processes, flow metrics, OKR, prioritisation (e.g. WSJF), and portfolio rituals according to SAFe. A SAFe certification (e.g. LPM) and experience with Jira/Confluence are advantageous
• You have a solid understanding of enterprise and IT architecture, experience in strategy development, and know how to effectively connect portfolio management to strategy and architecture
• You prepare committees, rituals, and workshops carefully and moderate them confidently – including at executive management level
• As a communicative, entrepreneurial-minded personality, you bring business, IT, and finance together, convince across departmental boundaries, and gladly take on professional leadership.
