Job Description

• Ability to read options (in assembly instructions / designs etc.)
• Make adjustments to existing assembly instructions
• Maintain articles and parts lists in an internal tool (configurator)
• This requires a certain technical understanding
• You develop design specifications and create innovative designs for products, systems or components using CAD software
• In this demanding and versatile role, you are responsible for the timely creation of technical documentation, such as manufacturing and sales drawings as well as assembly instructions for high voltage cables and accessories. You prepare these according to VSM / ISO and industry standards as well as internal guidelines
• In addition to technical documentation / editing, you actively support the development team and independently and innovatively contribute your extensive experience
• Creativity, inventiveness and high technical competence are particularly required for technically demanding tasks

We expect

• Reliable, independent individual with completed training as a Designer EFZ, preferably also with further training as a Technician HF (Technical Documentation, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or comparable). Further training is not mandatory
• Several years of experience in design and technical editing, ideally with the programs Autodesk Inventor and ST4 (not mandatory)
• Sense of responsibility, result-oriented working, an open-minded attitude and strong team skills
• Enjoyment of working in a motivated, committed team
• Diverse contact with internal and external departments as an enrichment of the work
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form, English skills are an advantage
