Semiconductor Technician (m/f/d) - 100%
What can you expect?
- You operate our state-of-the-art vapour phase epitaxy systems during production (loading and unloading, monitoring processes) and perform preparatory and follow-up tasks (maintenance, material supply, parts cleaning).
- You carry out service work and take care of mechanical tasks from maintenance of vacuum systems and ultra-pure gas systems to the development and implementation of system modifications (sometimes with heavy respiratory protection).
- You perform measurements to analyse our products and coordinate their execution (particle measurements, XRD, Hall, PL, reflectivity measurements).
- You monitor the control of the systems and maintain electrical and electronic components. You carry out measurement activities in the recording and evaluation of system data.
- You contribute to the continuous improvement of the area (optimisation and creation of workflows in collaboration with process engineers and technicians).
What should you bring?
- You have successfully completed a technical vocational training as an automation technician, electronics technician, precision mechanic, physicist, chemical laboratory technician (or a comparable qualification) and have at least two years of professional experience, ideally in a technical-physical field or research environment.
- You are enthusiastic and willing to familiarise yourself on the job with chemical-physical backgrounds, vacuum technology, PC control of systems, and manufacturing processes for semiconductor production.
- You are curious, enjoy new things, and are passionate about technology and physics. You are willing to work in a two-shift model.
- You communicate well orally and in writing in German and English.
