About the job
The city of Illnau-Effretikon - located between Winterthur and Zurich - offers attractive conditions for around 18,000 residents with its rural and urban areas, hamlets, centres, and the historic village of Kyburg.
A wide range of childcare services is available to families with children. In school-age childcare, places are available for children from kindergarten to the 6th grade of primary school. The children live and learn in an age-diverse and socially mixed group.
For the team of school-age childcare at the Eselriet school unit, we are looking for a
- Ensuring age-appropriate and needs-based care and catering for around 140 kindergarten and primary school children
- Implementing the educational and operational concept
- Managing the childcare facility in terms of personnel, organisation, administration, and finances with twelve employees
- Operational participation and active fulfilment of childcare duties
- Contributing to projects related to childcare and the school
- Cooperating and ensuring the exchange of information with parents, school management, teachers, property management, and other childcare centres
- have completed a pedagogical qualification in the field of childcare/education (EFZ FaBe Child, Childcare HF, Social Pedagogy HF/FH) or an equivalent qualification.
- have already successfully held comparable leadership roles as an experienced professional and have deepened your theoretical knowledge through further training.
- possess good communication skills, high social competence, and a flair for organisational development.
- are accustomed to working independently and utilising your own scope of action.
- wish to work mainly on five weekdays during the 39 school weeks and only occasionally during school holidays.
