Curator & Deputy Director Kunstmuseum Olten (80%)
In an exciting phase of planned changes, we are looking for a new curator and deputy museum director.
Who we are
"Small and fine" is our motto. The municipal Kunstmuseum Olten is one of the professionally managed art museums in Switzerland, with a high-quality collection of Swiss art from the 19th century to the present, an innovative exhibition programme, a strong commitment to education and mediation, as well as publication and research activities.
As an "open museum" we explicitly see ourselves as a place of exchange, encounter and cultural participation. Collaborations, projects in public spaces and participatory formats such as the "Treasure Chamber Collection" are part of our DNA. We deliberately invest in projects that enable engagement with relevant questions of our time, we build bridges between disciplines, population groups and connect national discourses with local perspectives.
