Job description
Full-time position including teaching at the undergraduate and master’s levels in psychology as well as supervision of master’s theses. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and lead research in the field of the position, submit funding applications, notably to the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), and supervise doctoral theses. They will also be entrusted with administrative or leadership duties within the Psychology Section, the Faculty, and the University.

REQUIRED DEGREE: PhD in psychology or an equivalent qualification
DESIRED PROFILE: Candidates should have research experience demonstrating international-level excellence in the field of digital clinical psychology, evidenced by high-impact scientific publications and significant acquisition of funding, as well as university teaching experience. The successful candidate will develop excellent research in digital clinical psychology, illuminating the effects of connected environments on psychological functioning and mental health, digital addictions and social networks, while designing preventive and/or therapeutic interventions, responsible and innovative tools using cutting-edge technologies, and ethical frameworks for sensitive data to guide innovative clinical practices, with the ability to lead research teams, obtain funding, and initiate leadership in the field at national, European and international levels.

The Psychology and Speech Therapy Section brings together expertise in scientific study, teaching and community services in various fields of psychology (e.g. affective, applied, clinical, cognitive, developmental, social) and speech therapy throughout life. It develops fundamental and applied research programmes aimed at advancing the understanding of behaviour and psychological processes.
