To complete our "Sapphire" department, we are looking for a:
Control Operator (M/F)
Tasks:
- Perform aesthetic, visual and dimensional inspection of watch components according to defined quality criteria, to ensure the conformity of parts delivered to internal and external clients, respecting sector standards, procedures and requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out aesthetic inspection of parts (material defects, surface defects, homogeneity) according to internal and/or client criteria;
- Use visual or technical inspection tools (loupe, binocular microscope, lighting, gauges, simple measuring instruments);
- Identify, sort and classify parts as conforming, doubtful or non-conforming, according to quality instructions;
- Record traceability and inspection documents (work orders, sorting sheets, non-conformity declarations);
- Immediately report any quality drift or anomaly detected in production;
- Ensure maintenance, tidiness and cleanliness of inspection equipment and workstation;
- Comply with safety requirements, quality procedures and 5S standards;
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to improve detection, understanding and prevention of defects;
- Participate, if necessary, in supporting new colleagues in learning aesthetic criteria and inspection methods.
Profile:
- Basic training or experience in a production or quality control environment;
- Proven experience in watch visual inspection or aesthetic control is a strong asset;
- Mastery of aesthetic inspection methods;
- Good understanding of sorting criteria (conforming, doubtful, scrap);
- Use of inspection equipment (loupe, binocular microscope, gauge, appropriate lighting, etc.);
- Reading and compliance with inspection instructions and quality documents;
- Ability to detect fine and repetitive defects consistently;
- Great attention to detail and concentration;
- Rigor and objectivity in decision-making;
- Patience and consistency in repetitive tasks;
- Reliability, autonomy and strict adherence to instructions;
- Team spirit and clear communication with production and quality.
