Mikron Tool is an international leader in the development and production of carbide cutting tools. We are a continuously growing Swiss company, passionate about innovation and technology. We specialise in the production of high-performance small and medium-sized tools for machining the most difficult materials such as stainless steels, heat-resistant alloys and titanium. In one of the most modern technological centres for micromachining, machining processes are also developed within the scope of customer projects.
For our site in Agno, Ticino, we are looking for a logistics area manager with leadership spirit and a desire to take on a managerial role in the future development of our organisation.
Main duties
- Management, coaching, development of employees, leading and growing your own team
- Use of vertical automatic storage systems such as Kardex and optimisation of space
- Use of laser marking and robots dedicated to tool treatment
- Use of ERP systems and warehouse management software for material handling and traceability.
- Knowledge of identification, coding and traceability procedures for tools and semi-finished products.
- Coordinate and develop staff, ensuring compliance with company procedures and standards.
- Knowledge of occupational safety regulations and correct methods of material handling.
- Precision, reliability and a strong focus on order and quality, essential for managing high value-added products.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with production, planning, purchasing and shipping to ensure continuity of the logistics flow.
