The Hospital Network AR
The Hospital Network Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the acute hospital Herisau and the Psychiatric Centre AR in Herisau ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In the MTTB department under the direction of Ms Jana Schmid, we are looking for a Medical Practice Assistant for pulmonology with a workload of 40-60% to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- Organisation and coordination of pulmonology consultations
- Care of patients as well as appointment scheduling and patient management
- Conducting pulmonological diagnostic examinations, especially lung function diagnostics such as spirometry and body plethysmography
- Support of specialists during consultations, examinations and procedures
- Performing blood draws as well as taking on administrative and organisational tasks
Your profile
- Completed training as a Medical Practice Assistant EFZ or Health Professional
- Ideally experience in an outpatient setting, preferably in pulmonology
- Structured and reliable way of working as well as organisational skills
- High patient and service orientation
- Open and appreciative communication as well as enjoyment of interprofessional collaboration
