Function: Senior Associate – Fintech & Digital Finance

Function Objective:
✓ Acquisition of mandates in the legal field
✓ Comprehensive legal advice for national and international mandates on all aspects of fintech law, particularly:
- Development and operation of fintech products and services
- Regulation of the fintech sector
- Payment transaction law
- Crowdfunding and crowd investing
- Blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies
- Data protection and data security
✓ Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documents in the fintech sector, including partnership agreements, licensing agreements, and financing contracts
✓ Supporting mandates in complying with national and international laws and regulations, including supervisory law of the CSSF, MSFSA, FMA, CIMA, BaFin, AML/KYC regulations, and other regulations
✓ Coordinating and leading legal aspects of fintech projects, including due diligence reviews and structuring innovative business models
✓ Negotiating with client stakeholders, authorities, and other service providers
✓ Representing mandates before courts and arbitration tribunals
✓ Contributing to the development of new products and services
✓ Actively participating in an international team
✓ Participating in industry events and conferences
✓ Actively using AI

Requirements Profile

Professional Competence
Education:
✓ Swiss attorney license and top qualification
✓ Additional studies in business law or financial law
Work Experience:
✓ 5 to 15 years of relevant work experience in a law firm, auditing company, or a company in the fintech or financial services sector
Languages:
✓ Fluent, level-appropriate English
✓ Fluent, level-appropriate German
