Specialist in Crop Production – Focus on Resource-Efficient Nutrient Use (50-70%)
- Specialist consulting in crop production with a focus on resource-efficient nutrient use – especially ammonia-reducing application techniques, optimal crop selection, and efficient nitrogen use to reduce emissions
- Support for farm managers in analyses as well as in planning and implementing production- and management-related optimizations
- Supervision of nitrate projects in the canton of Zurich as a connecting element between agriculture, consulting, and groundwater protection
- Networking theory and practice: organizing specialist events, occasional participation in teaching, coaching student work, and involvement in practice-oriented trials at Strickhof
- Education at the level of master farmer, HF Agrotechnology, or BSc / Master in Agronomy or related courses of study
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in agriculture; experience in field crop production and environment is an advantage – or motivation to specifically develop this through further training
- Strong social, methodological, and self-competence as well as enjoyment in exchanging with agricultural businesses
- Enthusiasm for the training and further education of farmers
