Your tasks
- Technical management and development of the "Technical Office Tafers" team composed of civil engineers, draftsmen and builders
- Planning and coordination of construction work as well as the development of technical solutions and execution methods, especially support during the calculation phase
- Monitoring ongoing projects, planning work and production
- Managing interfaces with production, sales and project management as well as active exchanges in committees and professional meetings
- Sampling and visual inspections of ongoing production, quality of calculations and plans, as well as ensuring compliance with SIA standards and SUVA guidelines
- Support for digital development, new technologies and process optimisation
Your profile
- Civil engineer; structural engineering (FH, ETH or equivalent)
- Solid experience (5+ years preferred) in planning and realising (complex) construction projects; an advantage if experience in precast concrete
- Very good knowledge of Swiss construction practice and relevant SIA standards
- Solution-oriented thinking and acting with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Authentic leadership personality with strong communication skills and good willingness to cooperate
- German and French spoken and written
- Proficiency in specialised software (Tekla Structures, Cubus or others), knowledge of BIM is a plus
