Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for a product developer for the development and design of innovative components and solutions for electrical installation. Our client develops and produces technical products and systems for applications in mechanical, plant, vehicle and rail construction as well as automation and energy technology. The company offers an international industrial environment, modern development methods, diverse projects and good opportunities for professional development.
Responsibilities:
Development and design of technical products and assemblies from the idea to series production
Creation and optimisation of 3D CAD models, assemblies and technical drawings
Development of plastic components considering manufacturing and function
Execution and evaluation of simulations, calculations and technical tests
Creation of prototypes and functional models as well as support of practical tests
Collaboration with production, purchasing, quality assurance and external manufacturing partners
Optimisation of existing products regarding function, cost, quality and manufacturability
Technical support of product changes, industrialisation and series launches
Qualifications:
Completed technical basic training EFZ as well as a degree BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field
Professional experience in product development and design, ideally in an industrial environment
Experience with 3D CAD systems and simulation tools
Knowledge in the design of plastic components and manufacturing-oriented product design is an advantage
Very good German language skills spoken and written
