What is my role?

Our client, a down-to-earth family business in the Emmental, is looking for you as a designer. Your tasks include:

• Deriving the technical specification of mechanical components

• Designing and drawing customer-specific solutions

• Creating 3D models and 2D drawings of assemblies and individual parts

• Standard-compliant dimensioning with measurement and tolerance chains

• Creating weld seam drawings

• Creating and maintaining (product) articles, article masters and bills of materials in the ERP/PLM system

• Installation planning of hydraulic components

• Independently carrying out smaller projects

• Supporting the conception of new machines, vehicles and assemblies

• Conducting technical clarifications with customers and suppliers

• Collaboration with production and assembly

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed training as a designer with at least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in special machine construction

• Very good knowledge of 3D CAD systems, preferably Creo Parametrics, as well as confident drawing and standards practice

• Structured, independent and quality-conscious personality

• Team spirit and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary, small and dynamic teams

• Very good German skills, English skills and other languages are an advantage

• Sound IT knowledge, including MS Office, ERP systems (SAP) and digital management tools
