About the job
Flying Teachers offers a teaching assignment for German lessons on site in Zumikon.
Level: A1 – Beginner
Start date: from 16 November 2026
Availability: Mondays, Thursdays or Fridays between 09:00 and 12:00
Teaching scope: 2 teaching units of 90 minutes per week
Total duration: 15 hours
Teaching location: 8126 Zumikon
The learner is currently at level A1 and will have already completed around 55 hours of German lessons by mid-November.
The aim of the lessons is to further develop the existing knowledge and to specifically prepare the learner for a German exam in mid-January 2027.

Flying Teachers is a private language school that was founded over 25 years ago. We are based in Switzerland and also have locations in Germany and Hungary.
We teach a wide range of languages, offer tutoring for children in regular schools as well as intensive courses for different age groups. In addition, we work with companies to provide targeted and needs-based language solutions.

You have a valid work permit for Switzerland.
Experience in online teaching and knowledge of digital teaching tools are advantageous.
Requirements
SVEB training or completed studies in German as a foreign or second language; fide certificate is an advantage
Experience in adult education
Experience in teaching German as a foreign or second language
German as a mother tongue or German skills at level C2
Strong communication skills and enjoyment in working with people
Patience and empathy
Flexibility and adaptability
Willingness to continue training
