Works Coordinator

As part of our development and to complete our team within a family-run structure located in the canton of Vaud (Nyon region), we are actively seeking our next

Responsible for monitoring and progressing the works, in compliance with the specifications defined for all buildings. They are the central figure in the execution of the site. They coordinate the interventions of external partners, ensure proper execution, and plan the progress of the works.

Responsibilities:

• Create and control work schedules
• Participate in the selection of suppliers and contractors for new projects
• Assist and minute site meetings
• Monitor the execution of works and check reports from site managers and architects
• Prepare progress reports for the technical and works director
• Update plans and technical data when necessary
• Monitor maintenance contracts
• Prepare monthly and annual activity reports

Profile:

• Federal VET Diploma in a building trade
• Training such as ES Technician site manager or Federal Certificate
• Minimum 5 years of similar experience in Switzerland
• Organisation, planning and synthesis skills
• Good knowledge and aptitude for collaborative and project management tools
• Knowledge of private market legislation and rules regarding subcontracting and safety
• Mastery of building and construction techniques
• Dynamism, responsiveness and efficiency
• Strong customer service orientation
• Languages: fluent French and English. Italian is an asset
