Team and Responsibilities

As Lead HR International & People Operations, you are responsible for building and scaling robust HR operations across multiple countries. You create the structures, processes and standards that enable international growth to be compliant, efficient and scalable.
This role combines operational leadership with an international setup – from payroll, administration and compliance to scalable HR processes, systems and country-specific setups. You work closely with People & Culture, Finance, the business and external partners to ensure that our People Operations function reliably today and can grow with us tomorrow.
Your responsibilities
- You build HR structures in new countries and ensure that processes, providers and compliance requirements are implemented in a scalable and reliable manner.
- You develop and harmonise operational HR standards across countries, taking into account local legal requirements.
- You are responsible for setting up local payroll, benefits and compliance-relevant requirements for new countries and entities.
- You lead and further develop our People Operations area and ensure efficient and reliable HR administration throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
- You oversee central HR operations and recruiting topics such as contracts, employee data, payroll coordination, benefits, HR systems, operational compliance as well as recruiting processes, priorities and ongoing appointments.
- You ensure smooth operational processes from onboarding to offboarding and continuously develop the quality, consistency and scalability of these processes.
- You drive the digitalisation and optimisation of HR processes, tools and systems to increase efficiency, transparency and scalability.
- You create scalable operational structures and ways of working, further develop your team and ensure clarity in priorities, responsibilities and collaboration across People Operations and Recruiting.
Your Profile
- You bring several years of experience in HR – in an international environment.
- You have built HR structures or have been significantly involved in their scaling.
- You have experience in payroll, HR operations and recruiting – ideally with initial leadership responsibility.
- You think in a structured, entrepreneurial and solution-oriented way.
- You take ownership and move confidently in dynamic, growing organisations.
- You can structure complex topics and communicate clearly.
- You speak fluent German and English.
