Our Spatial Development and Construction department is responsible for zoning/land-use planning, building permit and neighbourhood planning procedures, Energy City, structural civil protection, municipal heritage protection, public transport, surveying as well as fire control. Your area of responsibility
- Professional and personnel management of the Spatial Development and Construction department with three employees
- Overall responsibility for an efficient, timely and legally compliant building permit process (including preparation and conduct of the meetings of the building committee)
- Support in checking and assessing building applications including the development of building law decisions
- Active participation in spatial planning issues as well as in the further development of zoning and land-use planning
- Close and solution-oriented cooperation with cantonal and municipal specialist offices
- Competent advice to builders, planners and authorities on complex issues
- Further development and optimisation of digital working tools
- Responsibility for budget planning, monitoring and participation in the final accounts in the field of structural engineering
- Management of the secretariat of the heritage protection commission
Your profile
- Proven leadership experience
- Sound knowledge of public construction and planning law
- Several years of experience in building application review, ideally at municipal level
- In-depth knowledge in the field of spatial planning is an advantage
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
- Strong decision-making ability, sense of responsibility and confident appearance
