Your range of tasks as Deputy Head of Department Pastry & Confectionery is broad:
- You produce the entire range of a wide pastry & confectionery assortment, from patisserie and cakes to traiteur and confectionery products.
- You support the department management in the motivated leadership of a team of about 12 people including apprentices and always act as a role model for the team.
- You assist the department management in the efficient and economical management of the goods warehouse.
- You support the department management in ensuring hygiene and order in the pastry & confectionery department.
- You are jointly responsible for ensuring that the produced products meet our quality standards.
- You represent the department management Pastry & Confectionery during their absence.
To be able to perform these tasks, it is essential that you bring a backpack with some prerequisites. As a team member in the pastry department, you must not only master production processes but also think ahead and, above all, communicate.
- For this, you absolutely need a basic education as a confectioner-pastry chef EFZ or baker-pastry chef EFZ as well as several years of professional experience.
- Ideally, you bring leadership experience from comparable functions.
- You must take responsibility and want to develop yourself within and with the company.
- You should enjoy working in the pastry & confectionery department.
- You have high quality and hygiene standards for yourself and your employees.
- It is important to us that you can deal with people and competently and reliably support the department management as well as your team.
