Are you a passionate kitchen professional who combines the art of culinary with tradition and innovation? Would you like to work in a historic house with a modern kitchen and delight a diverse audience? Then we are looking for you!
The Schützenhaus is one of the most well-known restaurants in the region, valued for its warm atmosphere and excellent cuisine. With the à la Carte restaurant “Gartensaal” and the rustic “Schluuch,” we offer space for up to 160 guests. Our three elegant banquet rooms, including the large Schützensaal for up to 180 people, provide the perfect setting for special occasions. In summer, our garden and terrace transform into a green oasis with an additional 300 seats.
From April 2026, we will reopen the Schützenhaus after a three-month renovation phase – and you can be part of this exciting new beginning!
Your main tasks:
• Overall culinary responsibility for the gastronomic units
• Development and implementation of creative, varied dishes with an economic aspect
• Ensuring high quality standards in production, presentation, and taste
• Leading, motivating, and developing a competent and productive kitchen team
• Organizing and conducting employee training
• Thorough execution of inventory
• Ordering goods and managing inventory
• Implementation and adherence to hygiene standards HACCP and occupational safety
You bring:
• Completed training as a chef and experience as a chef in upscale gastronomy
• Reliable, independent personality with high social competence (team cohesion)
• Passion for creative, high-quality cuisine with a regional connection
• You are strong in organizing and talented in improvising
• High initiative and implementation strength
• Very good German language skills, French is an advantage
