Your Tasks
- Active participation in shaping the program of the research group "Transformation Design"
- Leading transdisciplinary and society-oriented research processes in the areas of transformative research, Responsible Research and Innovation
- Preparation of project proposals with research approaches such as real laboratories, living labs, public innovation labs, and design research labs with explicit design and sustainability references
- Building and maintaining a strong network with industry and research partners
- Development of collaborative research projects with partners from research, civil society, business, and politics
Your Profile
- Completed doctorate in design or a related discipline
- Project experience, in-depth theoretical and methodological knowledge in transformation design at the interface of ecological and social sustainability
- Knowledge of advanced transdisciplinary discourses from the social and human sciences at the interface of ecological and social sustainability
- Comprehensive knowledge of current discourses and issues in digitalization and sustainability research as well as relevant political regulations
- Expertise in the conception and implementation of design-based participatory research and innovation processes
- Practical experience in transferring research results into social and economic practice
- Enthusiasm for an exciting mix of research, practice, and creative freedom in the university environment
- Joy in actively shaping an ambitious research project over a longer period
- Openness to teamwork – inter- and transdisciplinary, practice-oriented, and at eye level
- Organizational talent and overview: You bring projects to completion – whether with specialists or across disciplines
- Very good German and English language skills
