What you can look forward to.

Together with your team colleagues, you will develop solutions and coordinate transport at the Rail Technology Centre (BTC) Hägendorf, the largest production and storage site for rail technology in Switzerland. You will work Monday to Friday between 6:00 and 17:00 and occasionally take on on-call duties. Further training opportunities for individual career development are also not neglected. What you will achieve.

• As a driver in category A40, you take responsibility for the safe, punctual and customer-oriented operation and shunting of SBB rail vehicles.
• On a weekly rotation, you are responsible as a shunting supervisor or shunting assistant for the punctual delivery of railway wagons and the formation and splitting of incoming and outgoing trains.
• In this position, you carry out technical inspections on SBB rail vehicles and monitor the condition of other railway wagons to ensure they are always available.
• Your awareness of safety means it is natural for you to work according to the applicable regulations.

What you bring with you.

• Reliability characterises you and is reflected in punctuality, quality and safety awareness.
• For this demanding work, you are physically and mentally resilient and enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• You have completed a basic vocational training with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ), ideally in the field of transport logistics, or you have already gained experience as a shunter or locomotive driver.
• You hold a valid BAV licence for locomotive drivers in category A40 or Ai40 according to VTE or are willing to obtain it.
• Good German language skills (at least level B2) in spoken and written form complete your profile.
