Do you want to shape the future of capital markets infrastructure in a highly dynamic environment? We seek a Head Strategy & Business Development for Securities Services, based in Zurich or Madrid, responsible for translating strategy into execution, driving growth initiatives, and leading partnerships and M&A efforts. Be part of a team that values ownership.
What You Will Do
- Translate Securities Service's strategy into actionable roadmaps, define outcomes, track execution, and mitigate risks proactively
- Advise executive leadership on priorities, resource allocation, and strategic decisions using structured insights
- Drive cross‑business growth across clearing, custody, securities finance, and trade repositories
- Build and oversee business-intelligence capabilities supporting data-driven business and strategic decisions.
- Own M&A workstreams and business cases, ensuring alignment with long‑term strategy and integration success
What You Bring
- Strong experience in strategy or consulting within exchanges or financial market infrastructures
- 10 years of relevant professional experience with a proven leadership track record building high‑performing teams during transformation and change programs
- Deep expertise in post‑trade services, market infrastructure, and regulatory and competitive dynamics
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑business initiatives and execute strategy with measurable outcomes
- Fluent English required, with strong communication skills; German and/or Spanish is an advantage
