Member of Relais & Châteaux, the 5-star Superior Beau-Rivage Hotel in Neuchâtel is located in a paradisiacal place along the lake promenade, called Esplanade du Mont-Blanc. It offers 66 rooms and suites to business clients as well as international private clients. Job Description
Responsibilities :
- Create and prepare desserts according to the seasons and special requests from our clients.
- Plating of gourmet desserts, brasserie desserts, and banquet desserts
- Monitor and control the stock of necessary products, and prepare the forecast list of needs.
- Apply and enforce HACCP rules.
- Show creativity when developing the menu with the Pastry Chef.
- Plan tasks according to production.
Qualifications
Profile sought :
- Certified Pastry Chef or Cook, with additional Pastry qualification
- Experience in gastronomy
- Creativity and initiative
- Efficiency
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Organizational skills
