Role:
Commercial control and strategic foresight: For one of our partners – a renowned Swiss traditional company in the consumer goods and fashion segment located in Sursee – we at Rocken are looking for an experienced Senior Business Unit Controller. In this central key role, you act as a strategic counterpart to the division management, scrutinise market and sales figures, and create transparency for sustainable profitability growth.
Responsibilities:
You advise the management and Business Unit Heads as a Finance Business Partner on commercial and business management issues.
You analyse channel, product, and customer profitability and derive targeted recommendations for action.
You manage budgeting, rolling forecasts, and multi-year financial planning for your area.
You prepare business cases, cost-effectiveness analyses, and profitability calculations for new sales initiatives.
You further develop the BI reporting landscape (SAP/Cognos) and contribute to optimising data quality.
Qualifications:
Completed business studies (FH/University) with a focus on controlling or finance.
At least 5 years of solid professional experience as a Business Unit Controller, Commercial Controller, or Sales Controller (preferably in retail, FMCG, or fashion environment).
Excellent MS Excel skills as well as solid practical experience with ERP and BI systems (preferably SAP and Cognos Analytics).
Strong analytical skills, advisory competence, and assertiveness in dealing with various stakeholders.
Fluent German and very good English skills, both spoken and written.
