Positions: Quality Engineer Interns
Location: Sonceboz-Sombeval, Switzerland

Proposed internship themes:
Theme 1: PFMEA risk analyses and standardisation of quality tools
Within the Electronic Assembly Manufacturing Unit, you will contribute to strengthening the quality system and controlling process risks through the deployment and harmonisation of PFMEA risk analyses according to the AIAG-VDA methodology.
· Analyse manufacturing processes with the Production, Methods, and Quality teams.
· Migrate existing PFMEAs to the AIAG-VDA format.
· Identify discrepancies and risks associated with the processes.
· Propose and monitor necessary improvement actions.
· Contribute to updating control plans.
· Ensure consistency between Process Flow Charts, PFMEAs, and control plans.
· Participate in the standardisation of the site’s quality tools.
Theme 2: Improvement of process quality control
Within the Plastic Components Manufacturing Unit, you will support the teams as part of the 2026-2027 Quality plan to strengthen process control and inspection activities.
· Analyse feedback from internal customers using structured 8D and QRQC approaches.
· Investigate causes of non-conformities and participate in implementing corrective actions with production teams.
· Continue deploying new inspection paths and qualifying production personnel according to company standards.
· Time visual inspection durations to define a standard per reference and redefine sampling and inspection frequencies.
· Support the implementation of the new SPC Ellistat software.
Theme 3: Technical Cleanliness (TECSA) and quality performance management
Within the Comfort Business Line, you will contribute to deploying and managing the technical cleanliness (TECSA) approach.
· Establish key TECSA performance indicators in production.
· Monitor and analyse the indicators.
· Identify discrepancies and improvement opportunities.
· Implement and facilitate associated improvement plans.
· Report on indicators and actions undertaken.
· Knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methods.
· Interest in PFMEA, AIAG-VDA, 8D, QRQC, SPC, or TECSA approaches.
· Enthusiasm for fieldwork and interaction with production teams.
· Analytical mindset, rigour, and autonomy.
· Ability to work in a team and lead improvement actions.
· Engineering student in the final year of studies (Master’s level or equivalent), specialising in quality, industrial engineering, processes, or an equivalent field.
· Strong interest in industrial quality and continuous improvement.
