We are looking for one of our clients in Geneva a:
General Safety Engineer
General Safety Engineer
Engineering degree (Master's level) in industrial safety, industrial engineering, chemical, mechanical, process engineering, or equivalent field
5 to 10 years of experience in safety engineering or process safety.
Experience in an industrial environment or engineering projects.
Knowledge of hazard identification methods, risk analysis and assessment, as well as risk prevention and control measures.
Mastery of risk assessment techniques and tools applied to complex infrastructures and installations.
Knowledge of conformity assessment principles, safety audits and inspections.
Knowledge of occupational health and safety principles and professional risk assessment.
Knowledge of Swiss, French or European regulations and standards applicable to general safety and process safety.
Ability to analyse regulatory texts and technical standards, and to write summaries and technical recommendations.
Very good level of French and intermediate level of English

Identifying hazards, assessing risks and defining appropriate prevention and control measures.
Carrying out risk and compliance analyses of infrastructures and installations throughout their life cycle.
Assessing risks related to activities and workstations and proposing appropriate prevention measures.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, standards and best safety practices.
Analysing technical and regulatory reference documents, drafting opinions and recommendations, and contributing to the control of technical and process safety risks.
Supporting our client’s project teams by providing expertise and technical advice in general safety, from design to decommissioning of installations.
Preparing and presenting technical reports, summaries and presentations.
