Two Professors: Legal Informatics (40-50) and Empirical Legal Research (40-50)
40 - 50% at the Department of Public Law
Particularity
40 to 50 for each of the two positions.
We gladly accept your application for either of these professorships, but you also have the possibility to apply simultaneously for both positions.
Field of activity
The positions are initially limited to five years.
You teach and conduct research in the field of legal informatics (including Legal Tech) and empirical legal research respectively.
You supervise students and support doctoral candidates in writing their theses.
You are also involved in continuing education and the administrative tasks of the Faculty.
Requirements
You have excellent scientific skills and are passionate about teaching.
You hold a doctorate in a field that allows you to contribute significantly to legal informatics or empirical legal research respectively.
You also have solid legal knowledge, evidenced by a university law degree (BLaw), an MALS, or an equivalent qualification.
You have already published articles in the field of legal informatics or empirical legal research respectively.
Ideally, you also have teaching experience. You are capable of securing third-party funding and willing to participate in university self-administration.
You have an excellent command of French or German and a high level in the other language allowing you to teach in that language. The ability to teach in English is also an asset.
