To strengthen our Product Development team in Basel, we are looking for an experienced and committed individual as a PLM Support Specialist.
In this role, you will support our development teams along the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process, ensuring that documentation, data, deadlines, and open tasks are reliably coordinated and tracked. As an important interface, you will work closely with Product Development, Quality Management, Regulatory Affairs, and other departments, contributing to efficient, structured, and high-quality development processes.

PLM Support Specialist 80–100%
Your area of responsibility
- Support and coordination of administrative and organisational tasks along the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process.
- Creation, maintenance, and management of PLM-relevant documents, templates, and information in the designated systems, ensuring their completeness and currency.
- Coordination and consistent follow-up of change requests, open tasks, approvals, and deadlines, as well as early detection of deviations and need for action.
- Support of development teams with PLM-related tasks and ensuring compliance with defined processes, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Ensuring high quality, consistency, and traceability of PLM-relevant data and documentation.
- Creation and maintenance of status overviews, evaluations, and reports to provide transparency about ongoing activities and open points.
- Coordination of information flow and close collaboration with Product Development, Quality Management, Regulatory Affairs, and other departments involved in the PLM process.
- Active participation in the standardisation, digitalisation, and continuous optimisation of PLM processes, documentation, templates, and tools.
Your qualifications
- Completed commercial or technical training; further education in administration, project assistance, process management, or a comparable field is an advantage.
- Several years of professional experience in a demanding administrative, coordinative, or project-supporting role, ideally in the environment of product development or PLM.
- Experience in document and data management and ideally with PLM, PDM, or document management systems.
- Good process understanding and the ability to quickly grasp complex procedures, interfaces, and dependencies and consistently follow up on open issues.
- Strong quality awareness as well as a structured, precise, and reliable way of working; experience in a regulated environment such as medical technology, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences is an advantage.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and confident handling of structured data, documentation, and digital workflows.
- Proactive, service- and solution-oriented personality with strong communication and coordination skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Very good German skills and good English skills, both written and spoken.
