You evaluate procurement markets and derive sourcing strategies from them.
You assess new suppliers based on defined quality and performance criteria.
You systematically develop existing partners and conduct supplier audits.
You negotiate framework agreements and conditions with national and international suppliers.
You identify saving potentials and implement appropriate measures.
You manage inventory levels and availability, taking supply security into account.
You further develop procurement controlling based on relevant key figures.
You optimise and automate purchasing processes in digitalisation projects.
Qualifications:
Commercial or technical apprenticeship with further training in purchasing or supply chain management.
Completed university degree in business administration or industrial engineering is an advantage.
At least five years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, preferably in an industrial environment.
Practical experience in global sourcing, supplier management and contract management.
Confident appearance in negotiations as well as pronounced entrepreneurial thinking.
Analytical working style and routine handling of purchasing key figures.
Experience with SAP MM or a comparable ERP solution.
Very good German and good English skills as well as experience in interdisciplinary project work.
