Oberwaid is a modern health institution on the outskirts of St. Gallen with a wide view over Lake Constance. As a specialist and rehabilitation clinic, Oberwaid offers a broad spectrum of medical expertise in psychosomatics, psychiatry and psychotherapy as well as cardiological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. It is a listed hospital for all three specialist areas and is open to patients of all insurance classes from all over Switzerland. The psychosomatic focus is on the treatment of stress-related illnesses as well as pain and sleep medicine. Additionally, Oberwaid offers medical prevention and individual check-ups. The clinic is a recognised training centre Category C for psychiatry and psychotherapy (2 years inpatient and 2 years outpatient) as well as SAPPM recognised training centre Category A.
YOUR TASKS AND PROSPECTS
Introduction and supervision of psychosomatic, musculoskeletal and cardiological patients as well as members and hotel guests in the gym
Conducting group lessons (Nordic walking, relaxation, back gymnastics, etc.)
Conducting diagnostics (lactate threshold test, isometric strength measurement, body composition measurement)
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Health Sciences (sports in prevention and rehabilitation mandatory)
Reliable, motivated and precise working attitude
Interest in psychosomatic, cardiac and musculoskeletal rehabilitation
Friendly and well-groomed appearance
