For our headquarters in Saint-Prex, we are looking for a
to drive cost competitiveness, quality, innovation, and supply risk mitigation across a complex, multi-site manufacturing footprint and global supply chain network.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR ROLE
- Act as the procurement lead for new product development (NPD) initiatives, ensuring sourcing requirements are embedded in the product design process from concept to launch.
- Develop and implement category strategies for key technological components and materials in collaboration with global and site-based purchasing teams.
- Proactively identify and on-board strategic suppliers aligned with innovation, cost, quality, and sustainability goals.
- Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract finalization for new product platforms, leveraging total cost of ownership (TCO) and life-cycle management principles.
- Facilitate early supplier involvement and co-development activities with critical suppliers and engineering teams.
- Monitor global technology trends and market intelligence to identify new sourcing opportunities and mitigate supply risks.
- Ensure alignment with compliance standards, including ESG, conflict minerals, export control, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the maturity of the company’s global sourcing governance model.
- Act as a bridge between HQ strategy and local/site execution, ensuring consistency and synergy across the global manufacturing network.
THE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in global strategic procurement or sourcing within a high-tech, international multi-site manufacturing environment.
- Experience working within a global organization and coordinating with cross-functional, cross-cultural teams.
- Proven track record in supplier development, negotiations, and contract management. Internationally, including the APAC region.
- Fluent in French and English, any other language a plus.
WHAT WILL PUT YOU AHEAD
- Solid understanding of New Product Development processes, especially in a technology-driven context.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities across technical and commercial stakeholders.
- SAP knowledge a definite plus.
