About the job

• Comprehensive legal advice to internal clients in day-to-day operations as well as in projects
• Legal support for strategically important procurement, technology and development projects
• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and further developing contracts as well as creating and updating contract templates and other legal working tools
• Identification, analysis and assessment of legal risks as well as advice and support in compliance, governance and risk management topics with practical recommendations for action
• Management and coordination of judicial and extrajudicial legal disputes as well as instruction, coordination and leadership of external lawyers and cooperation with authorities
• Design and delivery of internal training on legal and governance-related topics
• Assumption of legal housekeeping tasks as well as performing corporate secretarial duties for group companies
• Monitoring legal developments and implementing new statutory requirements within the organisation

• University degree in law (licentiate or master), preferably with Swiss bar admission
• Several years of professional experience as a corporate lawyer in an industrial company or as a lawyer in a business law-oriented law firm
• Sound knowledge of Swiss contract, corporate and commercial law
• Preferably experience in project business and negotiating complex contracts as well as sound knowledge in the area of corporate governance
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style as well as strong communication and negotiation skills
• Fluent German and very good English skills, both written and spoken
