🌱 Your mission :

As an early childhood assistant, you actively participate in the daily support of children in their overall development, in line with the centre’s educational project.
You help create a caring, safe and stimulating environment, promoting emotional security, autonomy and openness to the world.
On a daily basis, you work closely with the educational team and maintain a trusting relationship with families, respecting the centre’s institutional framework.

🚩 Main responsibilities

• Welcome children and their families in a respectful and caring manner.

• Ensure the child’s psychological, emotional and physical safety and well-being.

• Have a duty to alert on any breach of safety and well-treatment rules and a duty of prevention and protection of the child.

• Collaborate and communicate actively with the site management and the entire educational team.

• Share observations with the educational team.

• Contribute to creating a pleasant working environment respecting the group’s values and each individual’s personality.

🤝 Your profile

• Be at least 20 years old and have at least six months of proven educational experience with children or in child care support.

• English-speaking or bilingual English/French.

• Sensitivity to issues related to well-being, sustainability and cultural diversity.

• Recognition of your ability to create a safe and stimulating environment for children.

• Strong interpersonal skills and passion for collaborative work with children, families and teams.
