For the leadership of our Application Management area, we are looking for you: an experienced, transformational thinking, and strong leadership personality who will shape the next development stage together with us.
Your field of activity – You design and are responsible for the application operation of the future
- You lead a growing team of currently around 15 employees.
- You are responsible for the strategic leadership & transformation of Application Management as well as the establishment of a powerful operations organization for two new specialist applications from ongoing major projects.
- You professionalize processes, standards, and tools in terms of stability, transparency, and quality.
- You establish a service and SLA culture in close cooperation with the specialist departments.
- You promote a learning and innovation culture in the areas of automated operational approaches.
- You are responsible for the stable, secure, and efficient technical operation of specialist applications as well as special infrastructures.
- You are responsible for application management throughout the entire lifecycle – from planning to replacement.
- You are responsible for system engineering for special solutions.
- You lead the 2nd & 3rd level support and are responsible for on-call management and deployment planning.
- You ensure with your team that projects transition into operations in a structured and quality-assured manner.
- You ensure operational support for specialist applications and work closely with suppliers, the Office for Informatics (AFI), and the specialist departments.
Your profile – You build a high-performance team
- You are a leadership personality with a passion for people, technology, and transformation.
- You have a university degree in computer science, IT management, or a comparable field (e.g., ETH, HF, FH).
- You have at least 10 years of professional experience in IT application management or a comparable function.
- You bring at least 5 years of leadership experience, ideally in a complex IT environment.
- You have proven experience in building and operating DevOps organizations (must-have).
- You have solid experience in application operation, lifecycle management, and IT service management.
- You work confidently with heterogeneous and complex application landscapes.
- Ideally, you bring experience in automation, monitoring, logging, and modern operational approaches.
- You communicate clearly, effectively, and appropriately for the audience.
- You lead teams with clarity, trust, and ambition and actively drive change.
- You combine strategic thinking with strong implementation skills and service orientation.
