Are you ready to put your passion for design into practice? From August 2027, you have the chance to start your creative journey with Valencia! During your four-year apprenticeship as a Graphic Designer EFZ, you will dive into the colourful world of graphic design and bring your ideas to life every day.

Your apprenticeship at Valencia

You will be right in the thick of things from the start, working with a team of experienced designers, art directors, print specialists, copywriters and account managers on exciting projects ranging from branding and advertising to campaigns and social media content. "Learning by doing" is our motto – you develop creative ideas and implement them using the latest design tools. Our professionals are always by your side, guiding you step by step.

In addition to practical work in our agency, you will attend the School of Design in Basel 1.5 days per week. There you will learn everything you need to really get started in the agency. And if you want to do the vocational baccalaureate, we will support you.

What you bring with you

Above all, creativity, good imagination and manual-technical aptitude. You should also be able to think in a connected way, have a good sense of language and not be afraid to communicate your ideas clearly. Good organisation and independence are definitely an advantage. It is also great if you already have some experience with Adobe Creative Cloud. We require completion of compulsory schooling. A preparatory course at the School of Design Basel is recommended but not mandatory – the main thing is that you are keen on design!
