About the job
YOUR TASKS:
• Procurement of mechanical components, semi-finished products and raw materials
• Ensuring material availability as well as coordination and monitoring of delivery dates
• Obtaining and comparing offers as well as participating in price negotiations
• Support and further development of our existing suppliers
• Close cooperation with strategic purchasing on supplier, procurement and optimisation topics
• Monitoring delivery performance in terms of quality, costs and deadlines
• Handling quality deviations together with suppliers and internal specialist departments
• Organisation of returns and claiming of credit notes
• Maintenance of material master data as well as purchasing and disposition parameters in SAP
• Participation in optimisation, quality and supply chain projects
YOUR PROFILE:
• Basic technical training, e.g. as a polymechanic, designer, production mechanic or comparable training
• Commercial or business management further training, e.g. technical buyer or purchasing specialist
• Initial experience in technical purchasing or in a manufacturing industrial company is an advantage
• Good technical understanding and interest in mechanical components and manufacturing processes
• Enjoyment in contact with suppliers and cross-departmental collaboration
• Good German skills, good English skills are an advantage
• SAP and MS Office skills are an advantage
• Independent, structured and reliable working style as well as own initiative
