The Municipality of Blonay - Saint-Légier is looking for a

Forester - Logger

Main tasks

• Carry out all work related to the exploitation and silviculture of forests located within the municipal territory;
• Participate in the construction, sale of wood, maintenance of tracks and footpaths, according to the directives of the head of service/sector;
• Collaborate in the complete management of firewood;
• Participate in all maintenance work of municipal buildings assigned to the forestry service;
• Collaborate in the training and supervision of apprentices;
• Participate (in rotation) in the telephone on-call service for the safety of trees along roads.

Profile and skills

• Forester-logger federal certificate of competence required
• Flexibility, dynamism, personality open to change
• Sense of organisation, initiative and teamwork spirit, availability
• Good physical condition
• Not subject to vertigo
• Holder of a driving licence (cat. B)

Start date

• As soon as possible or date to be agreed
