ERP Application Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
As an ERP Application Engineer, you actively shape the central ERP landscape. You develop interfaces, workflows, and modifications based on Java and contribute your own ideas. You take on a key role between departments, external partners, and the technical team. Those who enjoy clean concepts and pragmatic solutions will find plenty of scope for creativity here.
Responsibilities:
You gather requirements for modifications, interfaces, and workflows and analyse them.
You develop and maintain Java-based extensions as well as integrations in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
Additionally, you design workflows and create the appropriate technical concepts and documentation.
You build reports and documents using reporting tools and continuously develop them further.
You test new developments, ensure quality, and train the 2nd level support.
Furthermore, you analyse application errors, implement corrections, and collaborate with external partners in 3rd level support.
Qualifications:
You have a qualification or degree in computer science, business informatics, or something comparable.
You have several years of experience in software development with Java.
You are familiar with interfaces, data integrations, and workflows in ERP systems.
You have experience with reporting tools as well as in application support and error analysis.
Furthermore, you work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner.
You also communicate confidently in German and manage well in English.
