- Installation, configuration, and administration of Windows and Linux servers as well as virtualization platforms based on VMware and Hyper-V
- Implementation and support of reliable backup, recovery, and monitoring solutions to ensure stable IT operations
- Configuration, administration, and optimisation of complex network infrastructures focusing on routing, switching, VLANs, and firewalls
- Support and development of Microsoft 365, Exchange, and Exchange Online as well as integration of modern cloud services
- Implementation, administration, and optimisation of cloud infrastructures based on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
- Independent collaboration in planning, implementation, and further development of demanding national and international IT infrastructure projects
- Active participation in technical architecture decisions focusing on security, high availability, and scalability as well as further development of existing IT services
- Solid practical experience in system engineering as well as in the operation and further development of demanding server, network, and cloud infrastructures
- Very good knowledge of Windows Server and Linux as well as practical experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
- Profound know-how in backup and monitoring solutions as well as good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange, and Exchange Online
- Practical experience with at least one of the cloud platforms AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
- In-depth knowledge of network technologies, especially TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, and firewalls
- Strong analytical skills, high personal responsibility, as well as an independent, reliable, and solution-oriented working style
- Fluent German skills (C2), very good English skills (B2), valid category B driving licence, and willingness to travel within Switzerland

Responsibilities
- Operation, monitoring, and continuous development of modern server, network, and cloud infrastructures in diverse customer environments- Installation, configuration, and administration of Windows and Linux servers as well as virtualization platforms based on VMware and Hyper-V
- Implementation and support of reliable backup, recovery, and monitoring solutions to ensure stable IT operations
- Configuration, administration, and optimisation of complex network infrastructures focusing on routing, switching, VLANs, and firewalls

Profile
- Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ with a focus on platform development or system technology- Solid practical experience in system engineering as well as in the operation and further development of demanding server, network, and cloud infrastructures
